Lunch & Conversation with Carl Rasmussen
The Adult Education Committee is excited to offer Lunch with Carl, a class based on his book Monstrous Fictions. Join us on five consecutive Fridays, starting September 15-October 13, from 12:00-1:00pm. Learn more about reformer John Calvin, and how Carl came to his conclusions. (see the article in this Tower issue for details)
The Greatest Prayer - Reflecting on the Lord's Prayer
Sundays:  October 1, 15, November 5 from 8:45-9:45am
Using multiple resources, Eldonna Hazen and Jim Taylor will lead this class that will reflect on the meaning of the prayer we say every Sunday in worship.
Spiritual Practice Academy 2017-2018
This series of once a month classes will expose participants to a variety of both traditional and non-traditional spiritual practices. Each one is a stand-alone session, so you can attend one, or all. Led by Ann Beaty & Julie Kramer. (see the article in this Tower issue for details)
A Brisk Walk through the New Testament
Taught by Jeff Rabe, this course will be an opportunity for adults to experience what our confirmands learn about the New Testament. Offered on Wednesdays, October 11, 18, 25, November 1, 8, 15 from 7:00-8:00pm. Please register through the church office or on the sign-up sheet on the table at the back of the Sanctuary.
First Cong Parents' Group
This group meets on the 4th Sunday of the month at 8:45am.  Moms and dads of babies through teen-agers are invited to come for conversations and support. To receive emails that include information about meetings (and sometimes optional read-ahead articles/posts), sign up for the parents group through Realm, the church database, or contact Erika Hagen at: ewarkentien@yahoo.com. 
Women's Book Study
Saturdays, October 14 & 28, November 4 & 18 from 8:00-9:30am. All women are invited. Watch for book details very soon!
Men's Group
Meets on the 2nd and 4th Sundays at 8:45am.  All men are invited. Come as you can!
