Families Including God and Stuff is intended to be a forum . . .

for Families  . . . about Families  . . . .and the things that Families deal with day to day.

A chance to gather with like-minds and like-situations.

Events are offered through out the year to offer education, fellowship, and faith building opportunities for parents.

First Congregational Special Needs Committee

A Community of Faith.

We are an accessible community of faith and accommodations are available upon request. Through participation in the life of this church, we hope that you will share your stories and listen to those of others, give and receive support, and feel a sense of comfort and belonging through the joys and struggles of life.

The solace of the Swan Logo, lovingly designed by our own Linda Hancock, was chosen as the symbol of the Special Needs Program, as well as the moniker of the Respite Room.  The logo is derived from the folk tale of the Ugly Duckling in which a gentle character was scorned and alienated for being different from his peers.  The Special Needs Program works to discover the beauty and gifts in all of God’s Children and create a place where all can feel safe and welcome.
