Advocacy in Sustainability (by Josh Feyen)
This past summer, Josh visited Paru Paru, one of six villages in a uniquely-designated area high in the Andes Mountains. This is the birthplace of the potato. Josh returned with video, photos and stories about a small group of people dedicated to growing, preserving and sharing potato plants, culture and knowledge. And photos of llamas and alpacas, because they're just cute. The cost of the lunch to the church is $10.00 per person and we ask that you donate as you are able to offset this expense. Please RSVP by Sunday, April 29. You can register through the church office, the sign-up sheet at the back of the Sanctuary or email Ann: abeaty@firstcongmadison.org
