Our speaker will be Dr. Ellsworth Brown. If you love history, you may know him professionally. Director of the Wisconsin Historical Society for 11 years, he is the former President and CEO, and trustee of Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh and also of Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh. Prior to this, he was director of the Chicago Historical Society. Brown was president of the American Association of Museums from 1990 to 1992, and is a director of the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History. His topic will be Museums and a Civil Society. He and wife Dorothy are active members of First Congregational.
The cost of the lunch to the church is $10.00 per person and we ask that you donate as you are able to offset this expense. Please make a reservation by Monday, April 3 through the church office or on the sign-up sheet at the back of the Sanctuary.
