55 Alive!

Event Date:
Wednesday, March 1, 2017 - 11:30am - 1:00pm
Our next 55 Alive! program will be an "Author Event." Pamela Phillips Olson will discuss her book Lechayim Lunch: Ingredients for a Good Life. This work started out as interviews which appeared monthly in The Madison Jewish News for over four years. Here is what one Madison writer said about Pam's work: The subtitle to Pamela's book sums it up very well, what are the ingredients for a good life? In her book she chronicles the life stories of a number of diverse Madison senior citizens. Their stories allow us to learn from their hard earned wisdom as to what makes up a good life. Helen Vukelich, long-time first Cong member and community activist is one of the people featured in Pam's book. Helen died in 2015, but her legacy lives on in many people and programs in our community.
In addition to being an author, Pam is a licensed psychotherapist with a practice specializing in working with elders. The cost of the lunch to the church is $10.00 per person and we ask that you donate as you are able to offset this expense.  Please make a reservation by Monday, February 27 through the church office or on the sign-up sheet at the back of the Sanctuary.
