Blue Christmas Service

Event Date:
Wednesday, December 20, 2017 - 6:00pm - 8:30pm
Coming together for "Blue Christmas" is a way to recognize that the holiday season is not all merry and jolly. We live in a world filled with pain. Some of our grief in this season is corporate as we struggle to find peace and hope in our current world situation. Hunger, homelessness, war, and an unknown future plague us with worry, anger, and doubts. Some of this pain is personal grief. Dealing with loss and pain can put a question mark over the future.

Join us for this time of fellowship and worship as we gather to hold our grief, pain, fears, and struggle in community. We begin this time by sharing a potluck meal at 6:00pm. Worship at 6:30pm includes scripture readings and Advent candle lighting. We meet in the Fellowship Room. Join us for the potluck and/or worship as your schedule allows.
