Caregiver's Conversation and Support

Event Date:
Sunday, July 26, 2015 - 11:15am - 12:30pm

Do you have concerns for an aging parent or someone else who is, or will be, needing care? See yourself helping someone navigate services available to those needing care? Play a role for someone in transition from independence to assistance? Provide support for someone in a time of life transition including parents, children, or others? Have compassion fatigue and want a safe place to discuss it? Join us for lunch and conversation on Sunday, July 26, at 11:15 in the Fellowship Room. Lunch is included, donations to offset the cost are appreciated.

We welcome Joy Schmidt to speak to our group. Joy is the "Community Education Specialist" for the Alzheimer's and Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin. Joy has many years of experience in the field of care giving and through her work with the alliance. She has developed many tips for caregivers of all kinds. Please join us and feel free to invite friends. For more information, contact Ann Beaty at abeaty@firstcongmadison.org
