Saint John's Bible

Event Date:
Sunday, March 8, 2015 - 11:30am - 2:00pm

The Saint John's Bible is in Madison at the Chazen Museum of Art! The Saint John's Bible is the first handwritten and illuminated bible that interprets and illustrates scripture from a contemporary perspective, reflecting a multicultural world and humanity's enormous strides in science, technology, and space travel.

A free, private, guided tour has been arranged by the Board of Community Life for members and friends of First Congregational on Sunday, March 8.

Lunch at 11:30am at the Der Rathskeller in the Memorial Union. Or you can meet us in the lobby of the Chazen Museum of Art at 12:45pm for the 1:00pm tour.

Linda Hancock, calligrapher and member of First Congregational, will demonstrate and discuss her work during our time at the Chazen.

Space is limited, so to reserve your spot for the tour, contact Christina Schoenwetter at community_life@firstcongmadison.org.
