'Tis the Season of Advent!

"Take time to be aware that in the very midst of our busy preparations for the celebration of Christ’s birth in ancient Bethlehem, Christ is reborn in the Bethlehems of our homes and daily lives. Take time, slow down, be still, be awake to the Divine Mystery that looks so common and so ordinary yet is wondrously present

~ Edward Hays, A Pilgrim’s Almanac

It’s not just a busy season at the stores; it’s a busy season at the church. Advent leads us to one of the holiest days in the Christian church calendar – Christmas. Yes it is a time of shopping and celebrations, but it is also a time when we need to focus on what the birth of Jesus has meant in our life. Come join us for one, two, three or all of the activities we offer during Advent.  It will allow each of us to focus on energizing ourselves, instead of depleting ourselves.
