Thanks from Team Comma

Thank you to our church family for your support of our Ride for AIDS Network August 1-4! Thanks for encouraging our training, for cheering us on at the water stop on Friday morning, and for your financial support. Why do we ride? To raise funds for HIV/AIDS prevention and care in our community. We also enjoy the many opportunities we have to talk about our church with riders and crew. Many miles into Century Day this year, one rider who had never before ridden 100 miles in a day was wondering if she could finish. She prayed, “Jesus, if you’re real, I need your help to get through this day.” Immediately afterwards she noticed the Team Comma jersey on a rider in front of her. The jersey says, “God is still speaking” with our church name and website. This rider recalled a conversation with another Team Comma rider last year, and then was confident that she would be supported in community all day. She joyfully finished all 100 miles! ~ Team Comma
