Support Group for Parents Who Have a Child in Jail

Event Date:
Monday, August 19, 2013 - 5:30pm - Sunday, January 5, 2014 - 6:30pm

Having a loved one who is incarcerated is difficult. You may struggle with emotional challenges and stresses that are troublesome and confusing. Consider joining a support group for adults who want a place to talk about their concerns and fears - a place where people can talk and listen to one another with dignity, respect, and an honoring of confidentiality. There are always others who share our experiences - and our burden becomes lighter when we find them. This group is open to adults of all backgrounds who have a person they care about living in jail or prison.  (At this time we are unable to provide childcare.)

Meets every 3rd Monday of the month beginning August 19 5:30–6:30pm. Meriter Hospital’s McConnell Hall 124 S. Brooks St., classroom 1 (use Bolz Auditorium entrance).
