Vigil for a Fair Budget

On Thursday, June 2, the Interfaith Coalition for Worker Justice will be joining We are Wisconsin, Madison-area Urban Ministry, and other faith leaders from across the state for an interfaith vigil outside the Wisconsin State Capitol on the State Street steps at 7 p.m. The vigil will allow the faith community of Wisconsin to speak out on the proposed Wisconsin budget as it makes its way through the Wisconsin legislature. As people of faith, we are called to advocate for the rights of the disadvantaged and for justice for all. This vigil provides a place for those who believe this budget does not reflect their values.
