Posting our Building to Prohibit Weapons

At its last meeting, the Executive Council voted to temporarily put signs at the entrances to our church prohibiting weapons inside the building. The University Avenue Discovery Center agrees that they want signs indicating that weapons are not allowed in the areas they use. We are still consulting with our tenants in 303 and 320 Lathrop Street. This is a temporary measure because the Executive Council wants the congregation to vote on whether to make the signs permanent. That vote will be taken at the congregational meeting in February 2012.
