National Homeless Memorial Day

Wednesday, December 21st, the longest night, we will have the opportunity to remember and honor homeless members of our community who have died.  Those who would like to join us are asked to meet at the first marble bench at the intersection of East Main, South Pinckney and King Street at 4:00 pm. After meeting, a short service will be held either in the rotunda or at the bench after which we will be led by bagpipers to the Men’s Shelter at Grace Episcopal church.  If you are so inclined you may also bring gloves, scarves, hats or bagged baked goods that can be handed out to those who could use the extra winter help.
