Welcome to First Congregational Church
First Congregational Church of Madison is easily recognized by its signature bell tower, a landmark
that has graced the local landscape for over 70 years. Less visible and more compelling is
the diverse, progressive and vibrant community of faith that calls First Congregational Church home.
First Congregational Church is a dynamic and welcoming community of 500 unique and valued individuals, families and friends. While each of us may be at different points on our own faith journeys we are united in spirit and called by God's love to engage in the world as instruments of God's grace and mercy.
We witness that spirit and calling as an "open and affirming" church, committed to tying faith to social justice, and providing programs and services that nurture our faith community while supporting our broader mission in an ever-changing world.
Currently, First Congregational Church is seeking an ordained
half-time interim associate minister. Please see the job description for further information.
At First Congregational Church, we know God is still speaking. We invite you to learn more about us, our ministries and our programs. Whether you are convinced, committed or just curious, we invite you to join us at 10 a.m. Sunday morning for worship and fellowship.
Please send pastoral concerns to our ministers,

Diana Shaw.
Please send announcements and Tower
