Television Commercial

First Congregational UCC worked with Fox 47 to produce a television commercial that will be played on a new program called “Our Lives.” Our Lives is already the name of a magazine about gay and lesbian people and lifestyles in the Madison area.  There have been stories about Eldonna Hazen, Jeanne Marshall and her AIDS bike ride fund-raising experiences, and our members Josh Feyen and Jay Edgar were even on the front cover and the subjects of a featured article. Fox 47 has teamed up with Editor Patrick Farabaugh to produce a half-hour television show based on the kinds of stories that the magazine already carries. Representative Tammy Baldwin will be interviewed in one of the episodes.

First Congregational Church is blessed to have a valuable crew of volunteers who bring alive the stories of the Bible, share Jesus’ message of love, model Christ-like behavior, and build bonds of relationships.
